Frequently asked questions

Image Toolkit FAQ

Is the ToolNoova Image Toolkit free?

Yes. The current Image Toolkit is free to use and does not require account registration.

Which image formats are supported?

The output options currently include PNG, JPG and WebP. Input support depends on the image formats supported by your browser.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

The current tool is designed to perform image processing inside your browser rather than intentionally uploading selected files to ToolNoova's servers.

Can I resize an image without stretching it?

Yes. Keep Lock Aspect Ratio enabled and enter a width or height. The corresponding dimension will be calculated automatically.

Why can an optimized image sometimes become larger?

File size depends on the original format, image complexity, selected dimensions, output format and quality settings. Converting to a higher-quality or less compressed format can produce a larger file.

Can I convert an image into a PDF?

Yes. Optimize the image first, then use the Export PDF button to create and download a PDF containing the processed image.

Does the tool work on mobile devices?

It is designed for modern mobile and desktop browsers, although performance may vary with very large images and device memory.
